Who We Are

Who We Are

"Ordinary people serving an extraordinary God!"

The East Foothill Church of Christ is a body of believers that have dedicated their lives to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal and our mission is to live the words of the Bible in our every day lives. We are made up of many individual members, but together we make one unified body (1 Corinthians 12:22-27; Romans 12:4-5). We are a united family that serves our heavenly Father. We use the term “family” because each member of the East Foothill Church of Christ is a brother or sister in Christ, and that relationship demands devotion to each other and to the faith that we share and live each day.  Our togetherness and love for each other is evident in all that we do, both in and outside of worship.  We are by no means perfect people, but we strive to serve God to the best of our abilities.

Our family is made up of people from all different walks of life. We are made up of people from different social and economic backgrounds, different cultures and upbringings, and different age groups. Although different, we are united in our purpose: to please God.

In a world full of denominations, we have no allegiance to any religious body except that of Christ’s.  We are not governed by any outside organization.  Following Biblical example, we are responsible for our own worship and work, striving for the unity of believers and looking to Biblical examples for our church practices.  We seek to worship God in the same manner as the early New Testament churches, teaching as they taught and being what they were -- followers of Christ committed to bringing His truth to the world.

It is our sincere hope that you will come and worship with us.  We believe that you will find our practices consistent with the Bible and trust that you will find our church family a place where you are welcome and truly feel at home.
