Why isn’t “phonetic” spelled the way it sounds?
If 7-11 is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, why are there locks on the door?
If nothing ever sticks to TEFLON, how do they make TEFLON stick to the pan?
Why are their Braille dots on the keypad of a drive-up ATM?
Why do we drive on parkways, but park on driveways?
Why is it that when you transport something by car, it’s called a “shipment,” but when you transport something by ship, it’s called “cargo?”

Why does a person who wants to go to Heaven, skip Bible classes and worship services that can help them get there?
Why does a person who knows the difference between right and wrong, still give in to the wrong?
Why does a person who knows what he/she should do to be saved, not do it?

Since you are all here this morning, I take it that you understand what the word of God says. I would also assume that you know what God expects of you. It’s sad to see people who know they should be here on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday nights, but yet they choose not to be here. Titus said, “They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good” (1:16). We will be known by our actions.
